From the Kitchen
I started this site to keep track of the dishes I’ve been experimenting with, the wines I keep coming back to, and the places where good ingredients still matter. It’s not a restaurant and it’s not a food blog in the polished, influencer sense. Just a personal journal from a guy who never really stopped cooking.
I grew up on Italian comfort food—pasta, garlic, stews that simmered half the day—and built a life surrounded by the bold flavors of the American Southwest. Somewhere along the way, those two worlds fused. Now I cook with fire, herbs, and instinct. That’s what you’ll find here.
If you’re looking for perfect plating and culinary credentials, keep scrolling. But if you’re into pine nut pestos, cast iron comfort food, and the kind of wine that gets better after the second glass—stick around.
I’m Sebastian. Welcome to the table.
